Beechwood Park is an independent day and boarding school located in the Hertfordshire countryside.

The school approached TaskSpace with the transformation of two key areas in mind. The Staff room, located in the Grade II listed main building, and the DT room in the former stable block.

With DT being one of the most popular subjects, the school was keen to upgrade the facilities from the previous assortment of gradually-accumulated storage and work surfaces.

The staff room was designed with the intention of creating a rewarding environment for the staff to relax and prepare in. The space had not been refurbished for a number of years, and an important element of the design brief was to complement the period features of the room.

The project was completed and handed over in time for the new school year in 2022.
